As many of you have already noticed we gave Youjoomla.com a long waited makeover. This whole year has been very busy for us so we were forced to wait until the end to show you what we were working on and start 2015 with a fresh and user oriented interface.
Beside the obvious style change V5 is built with you in mind and we gave our best to give you as much information as possible but without a clutter. As you also might have noticed V5 is built on latest YJSG version and working with it was a miracle. We have used all YJSG resources and we were able to reduce the number of previously used modules and extended code to a bare minimum.
YJSG combined with JCompress gives us huge advantage and to be honest we did not have to pay special attention to how much Javascript or CSS we were using since JCompress takes care of all of that post development. With V5 there are few new sections that we got ready for you.
Ticket system:
This is a feature that many of you have waited on for a long time. And we apologize for that. Yes we promised it long time ago but in order to give you the best we just had to wait until now. Support desk is officially open for all our customers and response time is up to 8h. We are usually much faster than that, but to be sure that everyone is awake, 8h is just a precaution number. Yes the forum is still alive and we are here to help you but ticket system is for those who would like a one on one conversation with our support team.
Products updates feed:
This section will be very useful to members that use multiple Youjoomla extensions. The products updates feed contains all of our products list with information on the latest version, update time and change log.
Disqus comment system:
In all previous website versions we used either an extension for our comments or FB comments API. This time we opted for Discuss since it is much easier to use and mange than all systems that we have used previously.
Promotional discounts:
To thank you for your support , we have partnered up with best software providers out there and collected all the coupons that you can use. Discounts coupons are visible to our customers only.
Advanced download system:
We have redesigned and made our download system much faster and easier to use and is now accessible via direct link. YJSG built in popup lightbox takes care of isolated interface that will get you to your downloads faster than before.
Redesigned support forums:
On this one I had to be honest. The previous forum design was a headache for all of us. The clutter, unreadable sections , confusing layout all of that is gone. Now you can take advantage of simple and user friendly support forum that will get you to your answers in no time.
Simplified Knowledgebase and FAQ:
Our knowledgebase and FAQ sections now come with a nifty search function and popup answers that are easy to use and provide fast information on the topic that you are looking for.
Easy documentation:
Our products documentation has been redesigned and now comes with better information and how to instructions plus plethora of image examples to get you started with our templates.
Advanced member area:
Our members area has been redesigned and now comes with extended user interface that is easy to use and is more appealing than the previous one.
